We offer work-based learning modules for adults with learning disabilities and carers. Work-based learning means that you learn on the job.

These modules run twice a year in the spring and autumn.

We have two modules that offer students opportunities to learn new skills about person centred planning and running groups. Accessible information about these modules can be found by clicking on these links:

Module Info

These modules usually last for twelve weeks on Wednesdays from 10.00am to 2.30pm.

These modules can be run at Bristol, Gloucester, Swindon or Bath.

Students who come on the course will have access to the full range of University resources. Each student will have a personal tutor.

If successful, students will be awarded 20 UWE points at level. These can be used to continue to study at UWE. You can get a University Certificate.

These modules provide adults and carers with the chance to study relevant individual educational programmes at University.
