Our ‘Enabling Supports’ service enables people. People who
access this service have a range of needs and desires. These needs and goals
can be simple or more complicated. What is important is that the individuals
we support can rely on one of, or a team, of our Support Workers who they can
build a relationship with.
We have flexible and dynamic support packages that are
designed to fit around an individually assessed need or desire.
We use a Person Centred Approach, which supports
and reflects each person’s current needs and future goals.
We have support that can be provided as required, for a
couple of hours, an evening, a weekend or longer.
We have a service that can help people in a variety of ways,
but typically promotes:
- Life & Social Skills
- Leisure & Work Opportunities
- Decision Making
- Problem Solving
- Inclusion
- Respite / Short Breaks
- Modernising of Day Services
Assistance
to be full and active members of the local community, and encouraging people
to explore and experience the area beyond their local community.
Exploring
opportunities with no long-term commitment. People can be assisted to
experience a ‘taster’ of a social, leisure, or any other such opportunity.
No
boundaries are set that might limit the possible support options or the
individual design of support packages.
We
can ensure that when people set goals, they are planned monitored and
reviewed to an appropriate time frame with the involvement of all concerned.
We provide a
service that does not set boundaries regarding the possibilities of support
options or the packages of support that can be made and developed. |
