Plain Facts

Plain Facts is a magazine and tape for people with learning difficulties and their supporters.

Each issue of Plain Facts is about the findings of a different research project.

Research means finding out.

Plain Facts uses pictures and easy words to make information about research easier to understand.

Plain Facts is on paper and on tape.

Plain Facts comes out 6 times a year.

Plain Facts is free to self advocacy groups, day services and individual self advocates. Plain Facts is free for people with learning difficulties living in the UK. Other people have to pay for their copies of Plain Facts.

You can look at and listen to past issues of Plain Facts on the Web site.

Information for All

Information is important for everyone.

Good, easy information helps us to make choices, get our rights and live independently.

But not all information is easy to understand. And sometimes people who make information do not know how to make it easier.

The 'Information for All' project found out what makes information easier for people with learning difficulties.

We have made booklets to tell people about making easy information. They are on the www.easyinfo.org.uk website.
