The National Autistic Society South Gloucestershire Branch (parent support group) meets monthly.
The group provides support, information and advice to parents and carers of children and young people with an autistic spectrum disorder. The group also provides a newsletter, guest speakers, a library and activities for families to join in.
Is this an activity/service ONLY for people with learning difficulties?
No. Also for parents/carers of people with an autistic spectrum disorder (ASD). Professionals are also welcome to join.
Does a person need to have an assessment to take part in this activity?
No
Is there a charge for the activity/service?
Yes. £1 donation per session to cover refreshment costs.
