The
Meeting Place holds monthly drop ins in various
locations around South Glos.
What happens at the
drop ins are chosen by members of The Meeting
Place.
Past activities have
included learning about fire safety, first aid,
keeping safe within the community, learning about
the cultures of other people and regular skittles
matches.

Is
this an activity/service ONLY for people
with learning difficulties?
No, although
most of our members do have learning difficulties.
A small number of our members have mental
health needs.
Does a person
need to have an assessment to take part
in this activity?
No, but will
need to bring support with them if they
need it.
Is there a
charge for the activity/service?
Most activities
are free to our paid up members.
Membership is £5.00 for the year or people
can choose to pay £1.50 each time they come
if they prefer.
Is transport
provided?
No, but we
can provide information on reliable taxi
firms if needed.
