A free, independent and
confidential advocacy service which supports people who have not had the
service they expect from the NHS and want to complain.
An advocate can help
you write letters to the right people, prepare you for and go to meetings
with you. You can speak in confidence with an advocate and explore your
options with them. They can answer questions to help you make decisions and
act on your direction rather than the wishes of others.
ICAS can put you in
touch with other people who can help, involve an interpreter or translator if
needed. Advocates can meet you in a place where you feel comfortable.
Information packs are
available in easy-read formats.
