leaflet

We have produced a series of booklets about:

Making Decisions: helping people who have difficulty deciding for themselves

The booklets provide information for adults who need support to make decisions. This could be because a person has a learning disability or difficulty, brain injury, mental health problem or any other illness or disability which affects their capacity to make their own decisions.

The booklets also provide information for people involved in caring for them.

The information in these booklets relates to the current law in England and Wales only.

There are six booklets in this series:

To read documents in PDF pdf  format you will need a copy of the freely available Adobe Acrobat Reader

A guide for legal practitioners pdf [371kb]
