The Centre enables service users to access
a range of opportunities, to make informed choices
and to assume or gain as much control over their
own lives as they are able.
Service users choose their own activities which
meet their needs identified in their personal
review.
Physical support is given as needed to maintain
comfort and maximise opportunity to participate.
Activities cover independent living skills,
social and recreational activities, sports,
crafts, adult education, multi-cultural and
community awareness.
The Centre is open from 8.45am to 4.00pm Mondays
to Fridays for 48 weeks a year.

Does a person
need to have an assessment to take part
in this activity?
Yes.
A service user needs a referral from a Care
Manager or Social Worker with a full and
up-to-date assessment of needs.
Is there a
charge for the activity/service?
There
are no charges but service users pay for
their lunch and drinks.
Is transport
provided?
Yes,
provided by South Gloucestershire Council
transport.
