British Council of Disabled People is the UK's national organisation of the worldwide Disabled People's Movement.

The British Council of Disabled People was set by disabled people 1981. It tries to make sure disabled people are equal or treated the same as everyone else. It wants disabled people to be able to take part in society.

If you are a disabled person living in the UK, you can join BCODP as an Individual Member.

If you are a non-disabled person, you can join BCODP as a Supporting Member.

What Makes BCODP Unique and Important

British Council of Disabled People is run entirely by disabled people of all impairments and therefore accurately represents the interests of disabled people.

BCODP offer all disabled people in the UK the chance to get involved directly in working together to change society.
