Care Learning is an employer led group set up to support employers in the adult care sector:

  • To support the adult care sector in meeting the National Care Standards in training and qualifications (NVQ).

  • To enable the independent and private care sector to apply for funding to help towards the cost of staff NVQ training

  • To provide the care sector with information about training options, providers and centres.

  • To assist in developing the profile of the adult care sector.

  • To work on other projects, such as recruitment to help improve the workforce.

This is an information website designed to help anyone who works in the care sector in the former Avon area - Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset and Bath & North East Somerset.

It is aimed at employers in the independent, voluntary, private and statutory care sector providing residential or domiciliary care.
